All the reasons why – Willow Nest – Burton,TX

I have come to enjoy browsing through blogs as much or more than I have looking through magazines, and this is what has brought me to this world. I had resisted the whole computer world for so long and my dear friend and creator of our website, Julie, gently led me by the hand and helped me come to terms with living in the 21st century and through her encouragement and others I have arrived here to launch my blog… such a strange word.

I always need to have a purpose in live, a reason to do things, my German heritage doesn’t allow me to be too impractical, and so I have given much thought to the purpose of this blog. What comes to mind first is to share, our work, the places we will be showing our work and to also serve as an inspiration to others. As I become familiar with the process of adding new things , and lovely images it is also my desire to offer encouragement, and a bit of wisdom to others. I was named “little Mama” in high school and I so did not like that name, I wanted to be the most clever, or the most likely to become a CEO, or the most funny and charming… or anything but the little mama, but I have never been to far away from that description, I have a wonderful group of talented gifted friends in the North West who call me Mother Willow, we did shows together and created product together, and played together, and I guess because I was the oldest of six, and I am naturally inclined to being bossy… I have been tagged with this it seems forever. I have grown into it and now consider it very endearing and actually a sincere compliment that people view me this way.

I am sure I have given you more information than you care to know and I won’t be so wordy always, I promise. I am working with a talented young woman, a little mama herself who is a photographer and will be adding wonderful images very soon.. so stay tuned. I am always so amazed at how blessed I have been, in attracting such gifted people to work with.
