Welcome! – Willow Nest – Burton, TX

Today we are reinventing ourselves once again…

We moved to Texas a year ago, and have been in a whirlwind, not a tornado and not a hurricane simply a little whirlwind of activity since day one. I will not bore you with all the details, suffice it to say: busy, busy, busy. Like all our friends who do what we do, hunting , gathering, fixing, repairing, cleaning , arranging, pricing, loading, unloading, reloading…. wonderful, magical, good stuff…. old stuff, handmades from some remarkable friends, old French linens that need laundering and hung to dry in the wonderful Texas sunshine…all at the speed of light, it seems sometimes, traveling all the Texas roadways, here and there discovering new haunts, and places, making new friends, being embraced and blessed everywhere we showed up. How much better can life get? I am prepared to tell you!  Next chapter………

We are opening a store here in Burton,Texas, at 701 Main Street. Over 28 years ago I dreamed of owing a store on Main Street, I have owned 7 stores and this will be the first on Main Street, so for all those who dream like me hold on to your dreams, they do come true.  This special little store will house all the things that make us Willow Nest and Ludmil’s enchanting whimsical work will be showcased in the adjacent potting shed, and garden area, he will debut his work at our spring festivities. We will have several seasonal events, you will find them along with our shows listed on our calender page.
