I have so much to share at the beginning of June! My sweet husband has returned safely from a visit to his homeland in Bulgaria, he was able to spend time with his family, help prepare his mother’s home for next winter, prune trees and bushes, and patch-up falling plaster and broken locks… all things he is so good at doing here at home. His Mother is 83 years young, and I say that with such admiration , as I have a hard act to follow, she, her granddaughter 12,and 26, and Ludmil went on a 7mile mountain trek… yes she kept up with out complaint… a little stiffness the next day! I can not imagine myself beginning able to do the same today, let alone 20years from now at 83!!!!!It is wonderful to have him home.
I suggested we go directly from the Houston airport to visit my daughter and grandchildren, so he could recover from jet lag, we will spend time at the lake and Ludmil will wake-board and swim, take a run around the lake and jump on the trampoline with the kids…. that’s a relaxing weekend for him… yes he is cut from a different cloth….
We will return to prepare for the Brenham show on the 12/13, which I hope you all will able to attend. We are bringing a romantic collection of things, with a pastel pallet, and I have made several petite collages.
For our summer solstice event in Burton we have several surprises in store, for you so mark your calender, for June 20th our event begins at 3: p.m. till 8:00… you can scroll down to see all our info. on the flier, and you just may be the lucky winner of our Bountiful Burton Basket!
For the Red Barn show we are bringing a soft creamy pallet , with two great sideboards, always a great addition to any room, a matching pair of French dressers, circa 1920’s the drawers are lined with pink rose bud wall paper, these pieces are exceptional, an English wardrobe will be offered and hopefully find a new home, lots of white and creamy smalls, and some perfectly lovely old cement pieces…. hope to see you there….
Come to all three events if you can, there are always great things to see in Brenham, Burton and Round Top
Let me explain the recent photos Christie just posted… the fist one shows the beautiful arbor Lumil made for our garden topped with that great martin house, and the next frame shows a great iron bed and a peak at those dressers, I mentioned, and the third shot is of my sweet friend Lulu who visited with her husband Geff in May and took these lovely photos, we ar admiring the morning glories growing on the trellis Ludmil created and all our other gardern splendor! We love to share our little part of the world, so if you are headed this way give us a call and we will open the showroom and take a walk in the garden and don’t forget you can come spend a weekend at the “INN” if you so desire, or a quite weekday holiday…. we hope you and yours enjoy the bounty of the summer season. Enjoy time with your loved ones, and come see us and all our friends at these great shows coming up!
